He was born Abt. 1801 in Sheffield, Yorkshire, and died 1852.  John's father John was born abt 1775 in Sheffield and died 1827, buried 23 December at the Parish Church, Sheffield.  His wife Nancy Taylor was born abt 1775 and died in 1849 age 75.  Nancy was buried on March 20th at the Parish Church. Sheffield.  John and Nancy married on Oct 9th 1796 at the Parish Church
